I have been playing soccer since I could walk whether with my brothers in the backyard or the first team I ever joined. I currently play on Sting Dallas Black ECNL-RL as well as the varsity team at Independence High School in Frisco, Texas. I am excited and hoping to take soccer to the collegiate level.
What makes me a better player is my soccer IQ and knowledge of the game such as my ability to see plays forming 6 or 7 passes before they happen. I look to play out of the back, connect passes and build attacking plays starting from the back line. I also have the ability to play with both feet which helps to open the game up as I am not limited to one specific side. I believe that communication, especially along the back line, is necessary and crucial, therefore, I take it upon myself to be a vocal leader both on and off the field.
Finally, I am looking for a college that both values strong athletics and academics. It has been a lifelong goal of mine to pursue a career in the medical field such as Dermatology or Orthopedics. My academics are a strong reflection of who I am and who I strive to be. I believe that it is through hard work and dedication that success will come, and I will continue this throughout college both academically and athletically.
