As a student-athlete, I hope to create my future whether it's with academics or athletics. I have many goals set for myself. Sports wise I aspire to play at college and at the next level; professionally. Not only is this my goal but I plan on pursuing my studies in kinesiology.
Over the years of me playing soccer, one thing that has stood out is my playmaking in the middle of the field. Being able to identify where the pocket of spaces for the connecting passes and creating those through balls with the right intention is my main skill. Along with my style of play, I'd say I have good ball-handling skills. Soccer isn't only about what one can do on the field but also about what is done outside the field. I believe in "there is no I in team", being in a team means working with others and learning from them. That's something I'm always willing to do when it comes to this sport. This sport is a way to build relationships with others and I'd love to create more relationships with my teammates in college. Being able to learn from others is something I am also looking forward to. There are some characteristics that other players have that I'd like to work on. So being able to create friendships while learning new things is something that differentiates me from other recruits.
Academically I'm always willing to improve as well. Now that I'm going off to college, I know the basics of classes so now it's my time to learn about what I wanna pursue. High school has put me through tough times but it has definetly prepared me for college. I will continue to put in the same work ethic.
