Emerson Blevins '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emerson Blevins and I am a 2024 5'6 125lb. outside midfielder/ attacking midfielder. My freshman year I was starting outside back on varsity at Concordia Lutheran High School and won Newcomer of the Year. My sophomore year I was starting forward on varsity and occasionally played attacking mid. I scored 16 goals throughout the season and got the second most goals and assists on the team. My club soccer team and I got first place in the ECRL United Soccer Clubs league. This led us to qualify for the ECRL championships in Dallas Texas. This was an amazing experience for me. I got the opportunity to play in a very competitive environment and compete against the top ECRL teams in Texas. This year I am the starting varsity attacking midfielder. I pride myself on being a student of the game and hard worker both on and off the field. I train for soccer year round with strength and conditioning training, as well as private soccer lessons. I'm a very committed person on the field and in the classroom. I am very coachable and always looking for ways to get better and learn. Through injuries and setbacks I have learned to trust the process. I have found that having a positive attitude and mindset is what will help carry me far.
