My collegiate goals are to play college soccer, become a forensic pathologist, and help those in need by doing volunteer work. I would love to become a forensic pathologist, because I always found it intriguing how people can find out how and when someone died. Watching CSI and Law and Order sparked my interest in the forensic science field and lead me to research the career of a forensic pathologist. I also want to participate in college clubs/societies. I am in Beta Club (since 5th grade), and I am in Beta Club, Art Club, HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) my senior year. I have been in Spanish Club and FCCLA (Family Career & Community Leaders of America) also. I have been a straight A student since Kindergarten. I have a 4.0 GPA and rank 14 out of at least 191 students of my class. I have always took advanced classes. I am taking dual enrollment classes my senior year. I have been taking health science classes that will prepare me for my future college classes.
My passion for soccer started when I was much younger. I started out playing for the county league until middle school. Then I started playing middle school soccer and high school soccer. I have been playing for at least 10 years. I have been to two soccer camps and went to a college soccer camp last summer at MTSU. I have been a starting player since 8th grade. My position is right/left midfielder. However, I have played forward before. I have scored and done assists. My freshman year, I won the Super Sub award, which is for someone who the coaches could always count on to do their job when put in the game. My sophomore year I won the Hilary Russell Award. This award goes to someone who has shown great leadership skills, sportsmanship, gives it their all, and is a great role model. However. junior and senior year no one received an award. I can/will be physical when the time need be. I hussle and always give it my all.
I have great stamina and incredible speed. I do my best to always give my 110%. I am dedicated and also determined to excel in anything I set my mind to. I am respectful to my coaches and teammates. I am friendly, outgoing, and easy to get along with. I have good leadership skills and sportsmanship. Playing softball for the dixie league has helped me grow as an athlete altogether. I do not complain about how much running you make me do or how hard you push me. You tell me to do something, I will do it. I am always up for a challenge. I always give it my all no matter what the odds are against me. I am determined to overcome any obstacle put before me. I am an optimistic person and enjoy helping others, whether it is explaining something to someone or helping someone by doing volunteer work.-I would work with my aunt at the food bank-. I am open minded to options and new techniques. I am a tough player that works through the pain when injured. I am not easily frustrated as well.
This is also my first year doing travel ball soccer. I have always wanted to do travel ball soccer, but my family has never been able to afford it until now, since I have two jobs and able to help pay for it. I have so much potential to grow as a player, and I know I will throughout my travel ball season.
