Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer since I was five years old. Since I first stepped on the field, I have known that I wanted to play at the collegiate level. I have been working hard to make that dream come true. I know that playing in college is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
My strengths on the field are ball handling skills, my vision, and my stamina. I am a team leader and try to lead by example on and off the field while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find. I generally play ninety minutes of each game several times per week.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer at church, local youth soccer camps and am a member of the National Honor Society.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am looking to find a place where I can be an immediate asset to the team at the highest level of competition possible. Ultimately I would like to find the right college I can call home for these four years and be proud of in years to come. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
