I am a 5'3'' midfielder from Hoquiam, Washington looking for universities in the Northwestern region of the United States. I am on the Green River College women's soccer team and will complete my Associate's Degree in Spring 2024. I am a dedicated soccer player and student and an involved community member. It is important to me to balance my extracurriculars with my educational and athletic goals. I am looking for a university where I can play soccer while achieving my higher education. I want to pursue a career in education as an elementary school teacher and complete a minor in business. I have been told multiple times by coaches and teammates that I leave a positive impact on my teammates and those around me. I was honored to receive the "Best Teammate" award during my first year at Green River College. I believe my best fit would be at the DII or DIII level.
P.S. I stay out of trouble, and my friends and teammates tell me I am fun to hang out with on and off the field. :)

- Alex Barene played soccer at a community college before transferring to a higher level college team. He is now the captain for Grays Harbor Gulls FC in the Western Washington Premier League. On top of that, he was an assistant coach for a high school in Oregon and is now an assistant coach for a local high school.
