I am Helen Bossart, class of 2024. I attend The Linsly School, a college preparatory academy, located in Wheeling, WV. At Linsly, I participate on the girls soccer team. During my freshman, sophomore, and junior year I started every game as a center mid. I was named OVAC Player of the Year for the 2021 high school season while also earning Academic All-Conference honors. For club, I play on BVB, the 05 girls team located in Morgantown WV. I mainly play outside midfield but depending on the needs during the game I also play outside defense or forward. We play in the U.S. Youth Soccer National League in the Great Lakes Conference.
I am looking to be both intellectually and personally challenged during my college experience. I thrive on gaining new knowledge and techniques and then using them to further my education and self. While undecided on my future career path I want to focus on building a strong foundation to help others through coaching, sports management, or physical therapy. On the field, I am looking to be part of a positive competitive team that challenges me both technically and tactically. I enjoy competitive environments that push me to be my best, learning new skills, sharpening techniques, and playing at the highest level with my teamates.
