Personal Statement

From an early age, soccer has always been the sport that I love. Whether I am in class or on a volleyball or basketball court, I crave the moment that I can step back onto the soccer field. Soccer comes naturally to me, and it has always been my dream to play for a high level collegiate program and eventually professionally. Soccer is my escape from the stresses of daily life and has taught me how to effectively manage my time with all of the activities I am involved in. Not only has soccer transformed me as an individual, but it has showed me the importance of teamwork and family environment that is necessary for a successful team. I love the relationships that I have  developed with my teammates, who are like family to me.

My drive and persistence on the field follows me into the classroom and is what allows me to balance my grades, multiple sports, numerous activities, and playing an instrument. I know that this has prepared me for a busy soccer schedule and difficult college courses. Outside of school, I enjoy soccer, volleyball, basketball, hanging out with my friends and family, and playing the violin. My athleticism is what sets me apart from my opponents and is what allows me to not only create opportunities for myself but my teammates. I am a versatile player who can execute in multiple different positions and will always give 110% for myself, teammates, and coaches.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
