I've always been interested in sports, ever since I began playing soccer at age 5. Over the years I've played, soccer has taught me many things. It's helped me understand what a team is and what I need to do in order to be successful. It's also taught me to accept criticism and use it to improve my performance to reach the highest level possible, to strive for my best self, and to learn from both successes and failures. I am constantly active in soccer, playing both at the YNL level and starting on my high school varsity team in their respective seasons.
In addition, my love for sports has spilled over into my future plans. After completing high school in May of 2023, I want to accomplish two things. First I want to focus on becoming a licensed physician's assistant, preferably in orthopedics and focusing on sports injury and prevention. Secondly I want to continue playing soccer at a high level. I believe I have the ability to play at the highest level, but my hope is to find the perfect match in college between athletics and academics.
I normally play outside back, and I would consider that my favorite and most comfortable position, but I do split time as a holding mid. I start at outside back on my YNL team and holding mid on my varsity high school team. From these two positions, I led both my club team and high school team in scoring for the first third of their respective seasons last year. However, due to game circumstances, I have also played center back, forward and even goalie at times. Put me on the field and tell me what I need to do and I will find a way.
