Personal Statement

I learned to swim when I was 12 and enjoy it very much.  I am not a large person but do well at meets due to my swimming technique.  As I grow more and develop more strength, along with my technique I expect to be much faster and would be a great addition to a swim team. 
I am on the honor roll and have taken 2 years of ASL (American Sign Language) and will continue ASL next year (Senior year).  Also I plan on taking psychology classes because in the future, I would like to become an interpreter for deaf people or a therapist.
