I'm 17 years old and I started swimming when I was really young. I took Red Cross swim lessons when I was little and the Coach recommended that I join the swim club. I Lived on a lake and I went swimming, tubing and kneeboarding all the time. I decided to start USA swimming when I was twelve and have been on the Brighton USA team ever since. I made both the varsity and the state high school swim team all four years of high school. I have swam on two All American relays, had four All State swims, and I am on five current varsity and pool relay records. I am a Red Cross certified lifeguard and work at the Brighton High School. I also teach Red Cross Swim lessons.
