Personal Statement

I started swimming in the 3rd grade and grew up constantly being in the water.  Whether it was in my home pool or swimming with my club team  Utica Shelby Swim Club. I always loved to swim. This sport has brought me so much happiness and tears it’s practically my second life.  I love everything about swimming from practicing with my teammates to the adrenaline rush at a big high school meet.  Being a  student-athlete has taught me so much by being organized, prepared,  and knowing how to use my time.  I’m excited to see what my future holds at the next level.
