Tyler Matuzak '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tyler Matuzak.  I attend Dakota High School in Macomb, Michigan (Graduation Year: 2024).   My goal is to continue to play soccer at the highest level possible and to keep improving my skills.

I started playing soccer at age 3 and made the jump to travel/club soccer, joining Vardar at age 8.  I've been a member of Vardar's US Soccer Development Academy (U12 - U14) and the MLS Next Academy team (U15 - U19).  

I was selected to represent the East Conference in the MLS Next U15/U16 Best of Matches in both Frisco, TX (June 2021) and Norco, CA (December 2021).  I was also invited twice to the US YNT Regional ID Camp for 2006 Boys in September 2019 (Obetz, OH) and May 2021 (Indianapolis, IN), and voted Team Co-Captain by my U17 teammates (2023).

My coaches and teachers will say that I am hard working, driven, a great teammate, and an excellent kid who is full of energy.  I work as hard in the classroom, as I do on the field.   I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and my two dogs.
