2022 Highlights Personal Statement
I started swimming at the age of six and quickly fell in love with every aspect of the sport from the training to the competition and everything in between, The relationships built over the years with both swimmers and coaches is something that will always be very special to me. Growing up I played many sports to broaden my horizons and help me develop as an athlete. I always enjoyed the variety of sports but the one thing that has forever held true is that swimming continues to be the sport that I love the most. What defines me most is that I truly believe that everything is accomplished through diligence and a hard work. Whether it be my academics or athletics I am always driven to succeed through an undying work ethic. Reaching my goals while also helping my team be successful is what makes sports not only fun but also a great life lesson. I truly believe that I would be a great addition to any team as a fierce competitor and an excellent teammate.
