I think what makes me different is no matter what I do, no matter if I like it, if I hate it, If I understand it, or if I I don't understand at all I try my absolute hardest to achieve it the best I can. I don't think many people do that. I think if someone gets into their head that they can't do something then they just don't try, but that's not me at all. My height is something I have had to overcome. I know that I am not the best swimmer, but that's a good thing because it means I have someone to learn from, and a goal to strive for. People have learned from me as well; to never judge a swimmer by size. I think that my main goal is to always strive to be the best that I can be and do it with a good attitude. I don't give up even when things get hard. Throughout my high school career I have never taken the easy route. I have always chosen to take the most challenging courses and give them my all. I have practiced hard to perfect all my strokes instead of just one. I have also participated in a majority of the clubs my school has to offer and hold leadership positions in a few of them. I will always encourage others to do their best because I know that sometimes the pressure can be a lot to handle, but I know how to handle pressure and I hope to help others handle it too. My experience I believe is my biggest asset. I know what it's like to not make times or to want to give up. I also know how to combat these struggles. I think all of these make me a good candidate for a team because I really will always try my hardest to help others and bring a liveliness to a team. I genuinely love being part of a team and I hope that the team would love me as well.
