ASHLEY DEABLER

My superpowers include advanced underwaters, butterfly technique and sprint speed.  Being goal-driven and disciplined with swimming has taught me how to successfully balance my academics. I love the social bonding of a swim team too, and of course I love to win...like being part of two HS State Championship teams ranked nationally.

I've had the fortune of training and competing with great coaches and teammates at my club (AAC) and Yorktown High School, including a future Olympian, NAG record holder and other top college commits and recruits.  I love how my teammates and I put in the hard work and get to see the results together, through all the ups and downs. 

My goal is to attend a good academic college with a supportive swim team and staff where I can accomplish and explore new goals and build new relationships. I would like to experience a different region or part of the country and learn new subjects in psychology and marketing, similar to my mom's work at Disney & National Geographic.   

While I am proud of my past accomplishments, times, and specific plans to improve, I am most proud of my determination, my mental approach and attitude and having the right tools to achieve challenging goals.  These are the intangibles I believe you will value as a coach with having me on your team.
