Personal Statement

I am Nora Schmidt, graduating class of 2024 at Niles West High School in Skokie, Illinois. I have been playing tennis seriously for 3 years and am on the Varsity team at my high school. Every year, I make goals for myself to improve upon my skills as a tennis player and teammate and aim for success. I am very coachable and love to be a leader on my team. I am looking for an excellent academic school with an inviting group of people to welcome me on their team. I have been on the Gold Honor Roll every year I have been in high school and my GPA is 4.2. I want to study Sports Medicine/Physical Therapy in college and get involved in lots of school activities. I pride myself on my devotion and perseverance as a student-athlete and will continue to grow that mindset further into my academic career. Thank you to all the wonderful coaches that take part in this journey.
