I love the game of tennis!
I especially love competing (as opposed to only training) and I thrive in team formats. Playing team events makes me proud to fight for myself as well as my teammates. I love cheering players on and having the "family" like dynamic a team brings. When it comes to competition, I'm a big believer in using all of my tools to find a way to create opportunities. That variety is what makes competing so fun for me: I use slices, drop shots, loops, and changes of pace to open as many doors as I can to be able to hit BIG WINNERS. My favorite events so far are playing for Team Tennessee in Southern Cup and for southern teams in various Zonal competitions. I have had three high national doubles tournaments and singles Tennessee State finishes and several wins over much higher ranked players. Because my mother is from France, I am Franco-American and speak French fluently. I visit France often to see family and also have been to several other European countries. People say that I am hardworking and determined. Others describe me as tenacious, loyal but also imaginative and creative. I say that my goal is striving for greatness not only on the court and in the classroom, but in life as well!
