I originally come from England, having lived there for most of my life. I was born in Peru, and I have lived in a latin environment because of my peruvian mother, despite living in England. Fully embracing my heritage, my parents taught me to speak in spanish, enabling me to become Bilingual, speaking fluently both English and Spanish. I was forced to adapt when the Covid pandemic struck, which had us move to Bolivia. I was hit by a different culture than I was used to, and a different environment. However, I had many enriching experiences, and the move helped me incredibly with my tennis. Since I was homeschooled in Bolivia, I had a lot of time which I dedicated to my training and exercise in various different forms that helped me improve my strength and stamina. Homeschooling required organisation and discipline which I had to learn. Being homeschooled also let me explore Bolivian culture, meet many special people and see many interesting places. Living in Bolivia taught me to be more comfortable with change and tought me the value of hard work. I definitely saw improvement in every aspect of my life as I continued to train hard and study hard. In these past few years I have learned a lot because I have gone through many things both different and unfamilair. The experiences I have been through have improved my social skills, my ability to adapt to my surroundings and it has also allowed me to immerse myself in different things that I may not have ever experienced without the moves to both Boliavia and The USA. I think I have grown in every aspect of my life and my understanding of the world around me has also grown. I am very grateful for everything and I wouldn't change a thing.
