Nyema Walker '25 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be the best athlete and person I can possibly be and track helped me realize this because it has shown me on many accounts how strong I actually am. I am so blessed to be able to participate in both track and cross country because they have pushed me to strive for the best, and allowed me to find a new version of myself. My aspiration is to run on a collegiate level and I’m very passionate in accomplishing this for myself because I even though I started running in 9th grade, as soon as I was entered in my first race, I just knew this was for me, and something I wanted to do for a long time. Right now, I'm not the fastest, but that doesn’t mean I wont get there. I will become great at this.  I will continue to work hard every single day until I accomplish everything. I’m currently in my junior year and I this will be the year I shock everyone.
