Personal Statement
This past year has been a wake up call me. For most of my High School career I didn't think I had what it would take to go collegiant. To be quite honest, there were many times that I would start focusing on how other people were doing and would lose my focus, but this has all changed. This past season I have seen myself grow drastically each meet, throwing further and further, making all the hard work I put in pay off. The moment that really sticks out as to what gave me that extra nudge to see if I truly did have what it would take, was when my coach sat me down after I finished throwing at the state meet and told me that he thinks that I could take this sport that I love to the next level. I still have another season to grow and show you that I have what it takes to be a collegiant thrower. I have an amazing support system to help me get there. I promise that if given the opportunity I will give it everything I''ve got to become the best athlete and student I can possibly be.
