Hello coaches, Im Lakeya, better known as kizzy. Im from the westside of Fulton county, Atlanta, Georgia and I am 17 years old . My passion and love for track and field stems far beyond medals or running. Track and field has been a character builder, and an outlet for me to grow and improve as a young adult. Continuing to expand further on who I am, I would like to shine some light on my best accomplishments in the sport. Freshman year I earned 4 medals at GHSA’s state finals in the 400m, 200m 4X1 and 4X4, but before that I earned 2 medals at Georgia’s regional meet in the 400m and 200m . Sophmore year I earned a regional position in the 400m and 200m. However due to personal issues and a line of traumatic events I lost sight of my mission and began diverting from my goal. These actions led to me not receiving a Junior track season . But despite my faults, I have learned from my mistakes and have made strides to improve , mainly in my focus, discipline and academics and I am also working on my physical health during this off period to prepare for my final track season.
