Emree Larson '21 Recruiting Profile

Even though I come from a small town, you can ask anyone you like, and they will tell you that even if I'm not the best, I will work my tail off to get that way. I've developed a love for running that I want to continue for the rest of my life. I've come to love the screaming crowds as you cross the finish line barely in front of your opponent. I've come to love the wind in my hair and the burn in my lungs. I've come to love the dedication, endurance, and grit that is required to topple my goals. I may be a small town girl, but my dreams are anything but small. I have loved the team atmosphere my team has developed. I have learned to cheer on my teammates, even when they may surpass what I am able to achieve that day. My goal for college is not only to develop myself into a better runner, but also a better person. Running is something I am passionate about, and I will give everything I have to reach my goals.
