Personal Statement
The first time I stepped onto the track was when I was 10 years old. I was on the Waukegan Invader team my Coach took me under his wing and showed me everything there was to know about the sport ever since that day I fell in love with Track & Field. What makes me different from everyone else is that I am significantly short, with a height of 5'2 but I am extremely powerful my coaches always say I run a mean curve! Which I do especially when I'm always the first one out of the blocks. I attend Warren High school in IL which is classified as a 3A school I have made it to state 3 years in a row for the 100m dash and my 4x1 relay. I'm a dedicated person when I want something I will do everything in my power to accomplish it no matter how many times I fail I'll always get up and try again. I maintain Straight A's and B's I'm currently a Junior I will be graduating in the year 2015. In my free time I like to help out the senior citizens at a local church through my club in school called FBLA which stands for Future Business Leaders of America I will be competing in Northern Area next year with my sister who also runs track. My goals are to run D2 and become a nutritionist or a social worker the reason why I want to run D1 or D2, the reason why I say D2 is because I can maintain my grade point average and also be a competitive athlete at the same time.
