I started on a club track team at 5 years old and i have been running, jumping and throwing ever since. I have qualified for AAU and USATF nationals 10 times in a variety of events. The events i have qualified for include 100. 200. 400, 800, 1500 meter in varying years. I have also qualified the 80 meter hurdles and the 100 meter hurdles and 400 hurdles. I have qualified the long jump and javelin and the multi events. I want to continue competing in club track and school track. I hope to compete in college in the heptathlon or the javelin and 100 meter hurdles. I have finished in the top 10 at AAU Junior Olympics in the javelin and Heptathalon. I was the 1st place finisher in the javelin portion of the heptathalon.
As a student athlete I also participate in club and school cross country, swimming and soccer. My grades are important to me and i make sure to find time to study in between my sports practices. I also enjoy playing the violin and spending time with my friends and family.
