Clever Invitational Personal Statement
I would make a great candidate for your team because I come to practice with a positive attitude ready to work hard. I seek on and off the field how I can constantly improve, and I work hard in the classroom and on the track. My faith is very important to me and it is a big part of my athletics. I not only seek to improve myself, but I also seek how I can build up my teammates. I was SWCCCA Class 1 All-Region First Team Freshman and Sophomore year (XC). I placed 6th at XC State Sophomore year. I have qualified for state in XC my Freshman through Sophomore year. I hold the school record in the 800, 1600, and 3200m (track). I was district and sectionals champion in the 1600 and 3200 my Freshman Year and qualified for state in four events (800, 1600, 3200, and 4x400). I was All-State in the 3200 (2nd) and 1600 (6th) my Freshman year. I also have experience racing indoor track. I would love a XC or track scholarship and would represent any team I am on very well!
