Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Kennedy Berreckman and I am a Junior at Cozad High School in Cozad, Nebraska. I have been focused on the high jump since a very young age. As of now my PR stands at 5'5" I am dedicated to working hard and improving my technique as well as my PR. I am a hard worker who doesn't like to cut corners in athletics and academics alike.
Academics are my number one priority, and I have worked hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA and score a 30 on my ACT. I am a member of National Honor Society, and have received multiple NCPA Academic All-State Awards in Volleyball, Basketball, and Track and Field. Aside from playing three varsity sports, I am also involved in Cheerleading, Choir, Student Council, FBLA, and Tri-M. I hold offices in both FBLA and Tri-M, and was selected to sing in the All-State Honor Choir during the winter of my junior year. I really believe that being very involved has improved my time management skills and shown me the value of hard work and dedication.
I'm excited to attend a college that will give me opportunities to pursue my many passions and allow me to participate in track and field as well. Thank you for taking time out of your day to learn a little bit more about me!
