When I was 9 years old, I started to play soccer for my school in Antigua. My soccer asked me to try out track and field because he thought I was a fast runner. Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamt of going to the Olympics. I decidedto take track and field more seriously when i completed 6ty grade if i wanted to accomplish that dream. My coach and I realized I had a talent in track and field therefore we decided to work together to help me develop into an elite sprinter.
I moved to the United States in September 2022. Since then I have broke two school records for the 100m and 200m sprints. I placed 1st place at my first invitational at the Jack V. Irion in Queensbury, New York in the 100m and 200m and 2nd place at the William F. Eddy Jr meet invitational in 100m. I went to the Outdoor State Championships and place 5th overall in NYSPHSAA.
Throughout my years of training to become a better runner, I have learnt that without my coach pushing me, I wouldn't be where I am today without his efforts and my determination. Track and field has shaped me into someone who has a passionate desire to make her childish wishes come true. I am highly committed and focused on track and field in order to strive for a greater opportunity. I'm searching and waiting for that greater opportunity to discover the best college for me, my goals, academics and my talent.
