Hi, my name is Carlie Cofojohn.
I am currently a junior at Crestwood High School and I run track year round. I am a focused sprinter and my events are the 100m, 200m, 4x100MR, 4x200MR, and I also compete in long jump. I was ranked 3 in the 100 my freshman year in our school conference, and seventh in the 200. My times as a freshman 100m- 13.0 and 200m- 27.7.
I have anchored both the 4x100mr, and 4x200mr since my freshman year. I have recently taken up long jump halfway through my sophomore year and by the end of the 2013 outdoor season my best jump was 15' 2". My PR's in the 100m and 200m still stand at 13.0 and 27.7. My freshman year I competed at the Don Faix Invitational at Crestwood High School and I placed 5th over all in the 100m out of around 30 competitors. My sophomore year I stood out at the Kent Roosevelt Rough Rider Invitational in the 200m placing 3rd over all against most all D1 schools.
Over all i always place in the top half (better half) at any meet. I always push myself farther and farther as well. I would love to go to college for either athletic training, athletics/coaching or possibly Sports medicine. I have a 3.7 GPA and I plan on joining NHS as a junior. Not only do I push myself on the track but I push myself in the classroom as well (taking all honors classes).
