Personal Statement

I have always given everything I do 100%. I believe that you either go after things with everything that you have or don't do it at all. 

I have enjoyed Throwing for a number of reasons, the individual fight, of me against the tape, the technical aspect of working to refine my technique and the opportunity to meet and compete with different people. 

My goal is to continue to improve every day as a scholar and an athlete to be the absolute best that I can be. 

We have a family "Slogan" Dare Mighty Things! It means that I will dare to be great, I will dare to do my best, I will let nothing get in the way of my goals. I will Dare to reach lofty goals that others might seem impossible. For the coming year I have set a goal of meeting or exceeding 120' in discus, 34' in shot put, 100' in Javelin, and improve my GPA.  And for me these goals are just one more step. Once I meet these goals another takes its place. I want to finish my High School career of a discus mark north of 140 feet, a shot put mark of 39 feet plus and a Javelin mark 100 plus.
