Personal Statement

I am definitely a competitor. I do not like to lose or to be unprepared for a competition. I am very disciplined when it comes to practice. I like structure. I love working out and feeling strong (I think I get that from my gymnastics background). I am a pretty quiet person until I am comfortable around people, but I rarely meet a person that I do not get along with. Throughout high school I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. My schooling is just as important as athletics is to me. In college, I want to be pushed in pole vaulting. I would rather go to a school and be the lowest jumper there, so that I can have higher standards and bigger goals to reach.
