Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Nicole (Nikki) Scherer and I'm from Burrell High School in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania. My specialty is sprinting, as I run the 100, 200 and 400. I have attended USATF's Three Rivers Association Championships and USATF's Region 2 meet this past summer (2014). I also was the starter my team's 4x100 and anchor on my team's 4x400. I placed 4th and 6th at the PIAA state meets. This year I would like to run at the state meet as an individual and place as high as possible. I love the sport of track and field, and I am more than 100% dedicated to be as best as possible.
My workout regiment consists of a lot of offseason training: lifting, spinning, yoga, speed and endurance work. This year (2014-15) I plan on attending four indoor meets before outdoor season.
I am more than dedicated to be the best I can be. Running in college is what I'm shooting for, as it would be the ultimate goal. I would do whatever it takes, and would push myself as if there was no boundaries. I would consider myself as a hard worker and competitor in track, school as well other places too. To run in college would be amazing - that is what I'm working for and would love to be a part of your team.
