Personal Statement
My name is Emerie, and I am a sophomore at Wylie High School. I discovered my love for running in 6th grade cross country and haven't looked back since. While I love athletics, I am also focused on my academics. I love to push myself to the next level and chase new PR's, whether that is on the track or in the classroom. I want to run at the collegiate level to extend my time being an athlete and continue growing in my running career. For the next three years, I'm focused on:
-cutting time
-staying healthy
-graduating with honors
-competing at a collegiant level
