Logan Collins '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Logan D. Collins-Denmon, I am a female and I run track & field for Cypress Springs High school, located in Cypress, TX. I'm currently a junior in high school on the rise to become a senior after this school year 2023-2024. In the fall of 2024, I will enter high school as a senior to graduate spring 2025. I started running track when I was about 7 years old and ran indoor starting off what an experience. Fast forward, I have a love for track and field and enjoy mastering the runs I'm placed in, understanding what being an athlete is, along with the feedback from my coaches to make me a better runner and athlete. In the summer I run club track with Top Speed Elite where I've gained more experience and have trained along with some amazing coaches that have pushed me tremendously where I have PR a few times. 

I've advanced this year and made the varsity team 2023-2024 (Lady Panthers at Cy-Springs HS) from stepping back last year (2022-2023) to run with the JV team as I felt I needed more practice to become a stronger athlete in my trade and understand my place being athlete and to understand I needed to grow just a bit more with two years left in high school. In my freshman year (2021-2022) I ran with the varsity team, so to be able to run this school year and regain my spot-on varsity, I can't wait to see how I advance even more. From entering high school 2yrs ago until now being a junior in high school I feel my overall personal growth and understanding of what I want in a 'career" and "self" is coming to be more realistic with decisions to be made. Being an athlete, leader, and representing my school, team, coaches, as well as myself, and parent, I uphold the most respect for "self" as well as the morales and standards I take with me along the way to help influence those along the path set forth.
