I love running cross country and distance track. I am a hard worker and I enjoy seeing my training and determination pay off. I was the captain of the girls cross country team at my school as a junior and I am the team captain again this year as a senior. During my junior year cross country season, I received the MVP award, and I earned 3 first place titles, one of them at the conference meet. I earned the Merit Award in track and a first-place conference title in the 3200 meter run. As a senior, I am working even harder to improve, and enjoying my last cross country and track seasons in my high school career. I hope to continue running in college because I enjoy seeing improvement and results from my training, and running is a large part of who I am.
