Hi, my name is Stella Arn and I am a 2025 sprinter from Brodhead, WI. I am a very determined, energetic, passionate, and outgoing individual. My life since I was very young has been surrounded by sports. Both my parents ran collegiately, and my dad played college football. From a young age, I knew I wanted to follow in my parent's footsteps.
Academically I have maintained high honor roll all throughout high school. I have received multiple academic awards including citizenship, presidential, etc. Not only am I dedicated to athletics I work hard to be involved in other extra curricular activities such as: executive board member for student council, Youth to Youth, and concert band.
As for athletics, I participated in both track and basketball up until sophomore year when I decided to focus on track year-round. Now I run an indoor season, school season, and AAU season. I am dedicated to strength and conditioning; I have trained at Sports Advantedge in Verona, WI since 2020, which is a year round program. I consistently strength train 4-5 days per week to help me prepare for the college level.
I was a first-team all-conference runner as a freshman as well as a well as a two event national qualifier for the AAU National Championships in North Carolina. Sophomore year I started off the indoor season very strong being conference indoor champion in both the 55m and the 200m. This strong start to my sophomore season led to a 15th place finish and 60m PR at indoor WI State Championships with a time of 8.08. My sophomore outdoor season also started out very strong with PRs early season in the 100m (12.83) and 200m (26.86). The end of April unfortunately, I was coming out of the blocks during a 100 prelims and fractured my foot ending my sophomore season for HS and AAU track.
While this was a huge setback, I didn't let it take me down. I focused on my rehab and strength training for the next six months allowing me to be back for indoor season of my Junior year. I have started my Junior year continuing to improve and setting multiple PRs in my indoor 60m (7.95) and indoor 200m (27.10). My passion for improving has helped me to run faster and stronger than prior to my injury. I can't wait to see what the outdoor season brings; I am dedicated to be the best I can be on the track and in the classroom.
Currently hitting vertical (28.4-jump mat), 10yd (1.55 - non spiked), deadlift (250), and bench (145) PRs.
I am looking for a college where I can excel both athletically and academically. Where I can be pushed and guided to be the best person, teammate and athlete.
Thank you for your time ~ Stella
