I am an Alaskan Native from Ketchikan, Alaska. I am a 5’ 9” tall, right-handed OH and have been a starter and all around player for my varsity high school team for 4 years. Located on Revilla Island in Southeast Alaska, Ketchikan is different from most other areas because we have to travel by jet or ferry about every other weekend to play our volleyball matches. During volleyball season, it is a challenge to maintain good grades due to numerous travel days, yet I have been able to maintain a 3.57 cumulative gpa.
My sophomore year I received MVP for my school’s team. This season I accepted the duty of floor captain and I have been awarded All-Tourney at the Juneau Invitational Volleyball Extravaganza and All-Conference at our Region V championship where my team took first place.
I would prefer to play volleyball for any school in divisions NAIA or NCAA on the west coast, and I am hoping to qualify for sports or academic scholarships. I am ready to play for any college in any region who offers a good volleyball program that I can afford.
My goals in volleyball are to play at the highest competition level possible. Volleyball is something I take seriously and am very dedicated to, yet I have fun and enjoy any time I have playing it. I wish to have volleyball in my life for as long as possible.
