Personal Statement
~~My name is Shay Reimer.
My goal this year is to secure a full NCAA Volleyball Scholarship for the season starting September 2015-2018.
My greatest attributes are my fierce competitiveness and my ability to play under pressure.
I am a U17 age Libero playing for the U18 Team BC ( British Columbia, Canada) and will be competing THIS SUMMER at the NTCC (National Team Challenge Cup) July 17-19, 2014 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. http://www.volleyball.ca/content/national-team-challenge-cup-ntcc

I have been a Libero / Outside Hitter for my School Varsity Team as well as U17 Force Volleyball Club. My OH experience has made me an additional offensive weapon as a Libero. I am very proud to say that my Club team just finished with a Silver Medal at the U17 National Championships. Our team has won the Provincial Championships for the last two years. I have had many memorable experiences playing this sport and I am so greatful for the unforgettable moments and achievements I have shared with my coaches and teammates. I'm very excited to take the next step and see what the future holds. I have so much passion and dedication for volleyball and my dream is playing at the highest level

My Indoor Volleyball Achievements in the past 24 months:
-Selected as a U17 player for the 2014 U18 Team BC Team
-Starting Libero - U17 Silver Medal Canadian National Championship Team
-1st Team All-Star BC High School Provincial Championships – Nov 2013- Played O/H
-Starting Libero and O/H- U16 Team BC - Western Canada Elites - Gold Medal Championship Team July 2013
-1st Team All-star - U16 Canadian National Championships – May 2013 Played O/H.
-Most Valuable Player - U16 BC Provincial Club Championships – May 2013 Played O/H.
-Most Valuable Player - U15 BC Provincial Club Championships – May 2012 Played O/H.
-Most Valuable Player - Grade 10 BC Provincial Championships – Dec 2012 Played O/H.
