Gracie DeFina '26 Recruiting Profile

•       I am a 2026 high school volleyball player from Justin-Siena High School in Napa,  California, where I actively participate in the highly competitive athletic program. My commitment extends beyond school as I also play for Empire Volleyball Club in  Santa Rosa and Napa Valley Beach Volleyball Club, showcasing my passion for the sport both on and off the court. In addition to my athletic pursuits, I maintain a solid academic record with a 4.0 GPA and engage in various extracurricular activities,  including being a 2-time junior Olympian in track and field. My values of integrity,  kindness, perseverance, and diligence guide my actions in sports and my personal life. 

With aspirations to continue playing volleyball at the collegiate level and graduate with honors in a health or science major, I am eager to bring my leadership skills,  work ethic, and coachability to your volleyball program. My unique experiences,  such as organizing a successful shoe-drive fundraiser for "Shoes for Orphan Souls"  and embodying the "5 D's for Success" instilled by my father and Christian  upbringing—dedication, determination, diligence, discipline, and a desire to win— set me apart as a candidate who is not only dedicated to excelling in sports and academics but also making a meaningful difference in the world.
