As a learner, I am passionate about pursuing educational experiences that build my knowledge and character as a professional and as a contributor to my community. I aspire to find a career in Agriculture, Business, or Law; and possibly a career path that envelops all three. I understand the important relationship that academics and athletics have, and I approach both workloads with dedication, integrity, and perseverance. As an athlete, I have competed in various levels of volleyball since the age of nine, including club and school athletics. Throughout each level, I have gained knowledge and experience from all of the coaches whom I have played under. As a team member, I am reliable, ethical, respectful, amiable, communicative, and motivating. I believe that these are all imperative attributes that I possess and perform on the teams that I formerly and currently have played on; and I am excited to practice the same on any future team. I believe that every member of the team has a cognitive role within each play that occurs, therefore as a team member I find value in all of my teammates. I also am not afraid to seek guidance or support in the ongoing strengthening of my skills. Most importantly, I acknowledge that there is value in my own reflection, and in receiving constructive criticism offered by others.
