Awards- Elinomathia Ceritification (International recognition of proficiency in the greek language) A2 and B1 Level - Multiple awards in Model United Nations competitions: Top 150 performing Model UN Program in the Southern Region of the U.S. - Best Visuals Recognition Award in Fairchild GBE competition: A NASA-partnered project where students have collected valuable data such as germination rates, growth habits and edible biomass production for over 110 varieties of edible plants. This year’s experiment will focus on the neighboring effect, how different varieties of plants growing together impact the growth rate of one another.
Activities- Miami Dade County Teen Court: Hands-on experience showing the reality of what happens in a courtroom. Addressed cases ranging from petit theft to grand theft and trespassing as both a defense and prosecuting attorney. Recommended verdicts for defendants in front of a jury and established judge through an official court process. - Seeking Wisdom And Grace youth ministry: The purpose of this group is to encourage young people (whether they have professed a faith or not) to learn more about a given faith and to become more involved in spiritual life and to provide activities for the common good of the young people, sometimes without an overtly religious agenda.
