Ever since my mom introduced me to volleyball when I was 10 years old in the 5th grade I have loved playing the game. I always have a ball in my hand whenever I can. From club ball to school ball I have experienced and learned positions as a setter, outside hitter, defensive and my all time favorite libero! I like to push myself beyond my limits and keep pushing myself forward. I try to help lift my team mates and try my best to keep my head up through the tough games and times.
I love spending some of my extra time volunteering as a teen regional representative for the military child and youth program. Being a teen counselor I have learned to be a leader and positive influence to others. I am still learning how to become a better leader through this orginazation by helping organize events and service projects. Being a positive example to younger kids has given me so much joy.
I also volunteer quite a bit of time with an local archery club. I have helped set up and take down 3D archery shoots and have met so many others of all different ages, that enjoy the outdoors just as much as I do.
I'm very positive, hard working, goal oriented girl that wants to be a positive influence to my younger sisters, friends, and others around me. I want to be able to continue doing the things I love throughout years to come.
Even though I am busy with volleyball and my volunteering I have still put school first and have managed to keep an average of a 3.5 gpa. I want to graduate college as an Athletic Trainer. Being able to play volleyball in my college career would fulfill an ultimate goal.
