I have been playing volleyball since I was in 5th grade. My 5th and 6th grade seasons I played on the 7th grade team. My 6th grade year I also started and my team won the 3A State Championship with a 28-0 record. After my 7th grade school season I started playing club ball, and my second year of club my team finished 11th at the AAU Nationals in Florida. My freshman and sophomore years of high school I started at the varsity level as a middle hitter. Currently in my junior year I have been a 6 rotation outsider hitter. My sophomore year I was honored with first team all-conference but did not have the chance to receive it as a junior because IVC was no longer in a conference.
It's been my dream to play high level college volleyball for as long as I can remember and I believe I am very capable of it. I have been told by most of my coaches that I am coachable and that they enjoy coaching me because I am always willing to learn and improve. At practices and games I give my 110% so that I can compete at the highest level possible. After being pulled up to higher teams a lot when I was younger I learned how to push myself to play with or better than the most skilled people on my team and on the opposing team.
"I don't think I've ever met anyone who loves the game more than Hannah, even in college." -Hillary Haen (All American from University of Illinois, also my head varsity coach)
