Charlie Holliday ...Personal Statement
I am a 5'8" volleyball setter from Delphi, IN. I have played on my high school Varsity team, IVA (Indiana Volleyball Academy) Club, and on LAVA Club volleyball team. I have a 3.5 GPA which has been improved since my skills video. I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of Criminal Justice(updated from original choice of Nursing). Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. My overall goals are to pursue a Criminal Justice degree. While pursuing this career goal, I also have the dream of playing college volleyball. I have worked really hard in both high school and club volleyball and continue to grow in my skill sets. Reaching both of these goals together will take hard work and I am up for the challenge. I will strive to meet these goals and make these future dreams become a reality.
