Lacey Walker '20 Recruiting Profile

My overall goal at the collegiate level is to not only become a better athlete, but also a better and more intelligent person with tough moral character so that i can go far in my future career, a physical therapist or nurse.  I am different from most because I bring the ability to be coached, because I believe there is always more to learn and new ways to attack anything, a strong, determined sense to succeed, through aggressiveness in my sports and perils and in my future career, but along with these strong traits I also bring energy and the ability to lift and support my teammates, friends, co-workers, and family out of negative mindsets. I believe if you think pessimistically, only negative actions will come about, but if you stay in a growth mindset, and put in effort, you can achieve practically anything of your desire. Which, for me, is becoming a collegiate athlete, and once I graduate college being able to use my collected skills from my classes and seasons to help advance myself in the world and help make a difference.
