My name is Ava Deutsch, and I am a 5’7” Libero from Wichita, Kansas. I have played club volleyball since I was 10, and I have played with the varsity high school team since freshman year. Currently, I attend Trinity Academy, and I am playing club volleyball for Shockwave Volleyball Academy. I recently was named to the All Central Plains League Honorable Mention team. Academics are just as important to me as volleyball. I have taken as many honors classes as I can as an underclassman, and I plan to take as many AP and college credit courses as an upperclassman. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA and a 4.28 weighted GPA. I aspire to attend medical school and major in biochemistry for undergrad. I hope to attend a high academic school. My hustle, discipline, and finesse allow me to perform exceptionally in the sport of volleyball. High academic performance and skills off the court translate well into my performance on the court and my volleyball IQ. With a mindset of positivity, I am able to compete and lead a team at a higher level.
