  • In the summer of 2011, I started to really get into sand volleyball, and I haven’t stopped loving it. The sand has strengthened my game tremendously. Having to play in the heat, more games, and more court space has truly made me a smarter, quicker, and more patient player back on the hard court. The last two summers, we placed 2nd in a sand national qualifier, but were unable to go both years due to scheduling conflicts. Then for fun, we just played in another small tournament and got 1st!
