Sloane Schauer '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was nine years old. I fell in love with the sport and knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level then and there. In the past year I have played Opposite, Middle Hitter, in the regular season and I have occasionally played Outside Hitter. I am a motivated student, and have been in some sort of advanced class since the sixth grade.

I love to play whether on a recreational team, a high school team, or just with my family in the backyard. I have played across the country because I have moved five different times in my life time. And I am not talking from one street to the other, I have moved from California to Georgia, and from Arizona to Kentucky.

My GPA is 3.85 and rising, I am hoping to take three AP classes and three Advanced classes my Junior year. I have taken the PLAN and the PSAT, and going to take the ACT soon. I hope to achieve a 25 or higher, and have a GPA of 4.0+ by the time I graduate. Hope to hear from you soon!
