At a young age I played soccer and boy’s lacrosse initiating my love of team sports and sparking my desire to win. My cousin, Callie, currently plays beach volleyball in college and inspired me to try volleyball. After my first full year of club ball in 2021 I knew that I had found my sport! Seeing the dedication it takes to be successful has helped me realize what I need to do to achieve my goal of playing indoor volleyball at the college level.
Volleyball has taught me not to dwell on my mistakes but to learn from them and move on to the next point. My optimism and positivity on the court and in practice has made me a better player, teammate and leader.
