I have been playing volleyball for the last five years. I know playing at the collegiate level is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life. I have strong ball handling skills, strong physical defense, and mental toughness. I work hard year round on my skills and to better myself. I do private sessions quite often as well as learn and coach with Delta Athletics. I lost my travel season last year due to a meniscus separation leading to knee surgery at 15. I made it a point to fight to come back better than I was before. As well as travel volleyball I am also on my High School team at Covington High School. Sports are very important to me but I also put my work first, without the importance of maintaining good grades and keeping up with my work, it can also really affect how I play. I have worked hard to achieve balance between my academics and extra curricular activities in order to succeed.
